| Traca is a revolutionary software package designed specifically for primary schools. It facilitates the tracking of pupil performance from Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2.
Designed with ease of use in mind, Traca is used both in the classroom and by the head teacher or assessment coordinator. Traca has a familiar Windows style interface so experienced and inexperienced users alike will feel equally at home with the programme.
Traca amalgamates the simplified input of information from a conventional windows program with the flexibility of reporting and graphing data afforded by a spreadsheet.
In the classroom, Traca has been designed to enable the speedy and efficient recording and reporting of results for all areas of assessment including:
Foundation Stage
Teacher Assessment
Target Setting
Optional QCA Tests
Statutory QCA Tests
Ad-hoc class tests
Reports
In the office, Traca enables the head teacher or assessment co-ordinator to perform administrative functions and track and report on progress across year groups and the whole school.
Traca stores pupil results in a central database to enable rapid access to historical information to facilitate accurate and speedy target setting and future performance prediction. Traca removes the need to manually calculate Age Standardised Scores, Average Point Scores and levels from raw scores by performing these calculations for you on the fly.
All pupil details, including class assignments, are automatically imported from your school administration system so there is no wasted effort re-entering basic information. Traca works equally well with horizontally or vertically grouped classes and automatically extracts this information from your school administration system.
As class arrangements change over the school year, Traca updates automatically from your school administration system, so no more juggling pupils and classes each term.
The administration side of Traca uses the results already entered in the classroom to compare performance by class, year group or whole school to national or local performance statistics. Traca produces a variety of standard reports and graphs that are generated by a single click of a button, so that school performance can be communicated clearly to school staff, parents, governors and the LEA.
