This facility allows the class teacher to record the results from regular testing strategies. Traca supports a wide range of different test types and outcomes:
Age Score
Used to record an age score in the standard format Y.MM i.e. 8.11 as eight years eleven months and 8.1 as eight years one month.
Numeric Score
Used to record a numeric test result within a specified range.
Mark & Autolevel
Used to generate a level from a test mark. Works in the same manner as the QCA level thresholds.
Dual Score
Allows the recording of raw scores and standardised scores for tests such as NFER.
National curriculum Level
Used to record test levels in the National curriculum format.
In order to reduce repetitive keyboard entry, Traca uses the concept of a test profile which describes the type of test, its parameters and outcomes. Thus after a test profile has been defined, new test results can be added by a click of the mouse.
Test profiles are defined through the use of a wizard which clearly explains all the options and parameters required to define a test profile.
Tests can be recorded against any of the National curriculum subjects that have been enabled by the administrator.
Illustration shows Mark & Auto-Level test screen. Keying in test mark automatically generates the corresponding test level.
